Dell XPS 15z comes with 15-inch screen with a choice of Intel Core i5 processor with a speed of 2.30 GHz and Intel Core i7 processor with a speed of 2.70 GHz, Windows 7 Home Premium OS, 6GB of DDR3 RAM is used in i5 processor machine and i7 processor 8GB DDR3. Model i5 uses 500 GB hard drive and 7200 RPM and model i7 has a 720 GB hard drive with same RPM. Screen resolution of the model i5 is 1920×1080 and 1366×766 for model i7. High definition Audio+Waves MaxxAudio 3 is integrated and 5.1 surround sound capability can be enabled via HDMI. Webcam features High Definition 1.3 MP sensor with dual array digital microphones.
For Dell XPS 15z connectivity, there three options using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LAN connectivity. Speaker placed on the either sides of keyboard and it’s perfect housing for games, music and movies. DVD drive and most of the ports are placed in between the speaker and aluminum chassis and Input/Output ports in a same row on the left hand side of XPS 15z. Dimensions are 24.68×384.85×260.37 mm and 8-Cell Lithium battery is used in Dell XPS 15z.
Overall, the Dell XPS 15Z look beautiful and thin enough for 15-inch notebook class. After opening the lid to test the notebook cover, we were amazed at the layout of the keyboard and speaker panel that ”once again” Apple Macbook Pro mimics the design.Even the arrow button at the bottom were very similar. It’s just different fonts are used, is a bit unique. The buttons on the notebook keyboard also features backlit for ease of typing in the dark. The following is a specification.
